I have found that quality is remembered long after price is forgotten. My advice when selecting a faux finisher is to be more concerned with their quality, standards, and reliability. They should be licensed, bonded and insured to protect your investment.

It is difficult when a potential client wants to know a ballpark price for our faux finishes. The best way to answer that question is to talk about the several factors that go into estimating a job. Each job and job site is unique and therefore the same finish can be more costly in one home than in another with the same square footage. Additional factors which can influence the installation price are the finishes themselves (a single layer marble is cheaper than a multi-layer marble). Another factor is the condition of the surface to apply the faux finish on. Does it need repairs, cleaning, sanding, priming or basecoat in order to properly apply the faux finish? Does the job require special equipment like scaffolding? Are the walls above average height, odds angles or multiple windows or doors that need extra finishing details? A personal consultation visit is always required to give our clients the most accurate and honest bid for the services rendered.

To give you some idea whether a faux finish is within you budget, to follow are some general price ranges.  For a small powder room approximately 6' x 8' the price range is between $1200 - $1800. Bedrooms range from $2500 - $3500 depending on the complexity of the finish and cost of materials. Kitchens usually cost $1800 - $3000. Living rooms and family rooms from $2500 - $5000. In order to determine the exact cost of your project we must visit your home and see the layout and select the finish. There are many variables in costing out a job, the size and height, number of windows and corners, the cost of the product, specific features, and the number of layers to your particular faux finish. Our minimum project is $1500. Visiting the showroom helps understand our pricing, so we advise this before your home visit.
